Here I am again.
Not much of an achievement, two days in a row, but, well it is for me, okay?Today is Wednesday. The middle of the week. The half way line. From now on there are more days in the working week that have passed, than there are left. You get my point.
Anyway. I thought I'd do a little recap, or rather cap because this is new to whoever is out there, of my week so far going from Monday. It might sound boring but, hold on, just keep on reading. :D
Monday
The most hated day of the week. Not only is it my one, count 'em one, completely full day in college, there always seems to be a shroud of dreariness over everyone. However this week it was a much better and lighter day than it normally is. This was because we had the day off college. But, this being a Monday, it's dismal force was ever present for I went to a wake for my auntie's father, not my grandad but the grandad on the other side of the family not related to me in a direct way. As is the spirit of my family, cheer was soon brought back in small amounts enough to leviate the sadness that hangs over, as it should do, these affairs. As such it was a...nice...gathering of the family, united in loss and united in joy for the man's life.
Tuesday
Back to college and another funny yet educatative lesson of English Lit. awaited. The two hours passed quickly and me and some of my friends went walking around all five of the Msnchester Christmas markets during our afternoon off. It was, as usual, hilarious being around even just a couple of my 'mates'. Even waiting at the bus stop, myself and Stef started putting the phrase "like a twig" to any number of different scenarios. For example, "He's so tall he's just...like a twig" and "It'll snap...like a twig." There were more but they've slipped my mind. Before you say a word, it was a very little game which helped pass the time before the 36 pulled up in all its awful majesty. So...there! :Q
Today: The Mighty Wednesday
Again I had just the morning in college, learning about determinism and libertarianism in Theology. Afterwards it was just a quick journey into town (Manchester) with Tom and Rachel for a Starbucks, which Rachel spilled on herself, and a magazine I wanted which wasn't there and then home, talking about cats and dogs (No. Not the film) on yet another 36.
Phew!
I bet you're glad that's over. I know I am. It makes it all sound so much more boring than it really is...err...was. :D
This blog. As you can see I've put a picture of the Doctor Who, (Children in Need special episode Time Crash is the exact place the picture is from) the fantastic TV show where it's name originates from. The quote actually refers to the fact that there is two minutes until a Belgium sized hole in the universe opens and, well, destroys it during the story. The reason I picked it was because we're all extremely close to a destruction of some sort. Hyperactivity, joy, sadness, all the emotions in fact, along with many conditions which affect everyone on the planet. Love and Interpretation are just two and the main two at that. I know I've read FAR too much into the quote but that's what I do.
I think this thing has gone on far too long so I'll click the PUBLISH button in a minute. But before that:
HEROES Ep. 22 Landslide is on BBC Three tonight!
Yes. I have stuck with the Beeb all the way through (apart from two weeks) the first season of this amazingly good programme. Therefore, by the time I get to episode 12 of series 2, the Writer's Strike will, hopefully, have been over for a long time and I won't have to wait as long to know what happens after that mid-season cliffhanger the American's love to torment people with. :D
Allons-y!
